What is SAFACC?
SAFACC is a group composed of entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, organizations, and individuals who share the common goal of promoting the interests of our local Filipino-American business community.
SAFACC is an incorporated non-profit organization under the State laws of Texas. We don’t take part or influence on the election or appointment of any political candidate in the city, county, state, or federal office, but we may however act on any policy question or issue that directly or indirectly affects the welfare of the organization and its members, or the city of San Antonio and its contiguous territory. This limitation, however, does not limit the chamber’s members right of citizenship by engaging in political, sectarian, or partisan activities.
WHAT IS SAFACC’S PURPOSE?
SAFACC aims to promote the interest of small businesses in San Antonio, especially Filipino-American owned, minority-owned, and women-owned enterprises.-SAFACC aims to protect Filipino Americans, minority, women professionals, and entrepreneurs by being their voice when they need to be heard.-SAFACC aims to enhance the economic and educational environment within the Filipino-American Community of San Antonio and nearby cities.-SAFACC aims to promote, educate, and sustain Filipino Cultural Heritage. We collaborate with different Filipino American Organizations and other local organizations in conducting activities that promotes cultural diversity.-SAFACC aims to open doors for Filipinos, Filipino-Americans, and American investors to invest in the Philippines and vise versa.-SAFACC does not create laws, but we may influence pro-business policies by lobbying legislators.
